ABOUT DISTRICT COURT

The Court of the the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Diu and Daman was Established in the year 2012 as per letter No.L - 1813 / 1 / 2010-Jus. dated 6th June 2011 from the Hon'ble Under Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Law & Justice, Department of Justice, New Delhi and as per Administration Order No. LAW / DMN / DSJ-DD-DNH / 7-08(Part)/717 dated 19/08/2011 from the Joint Secretary (Pers.), Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms, Secretariat, Daman.

The First Principal District & Sessions Judge, Diu & Daman Shri B. S. Wasekar was appointed at Diu as per Hon'ble High Court, Bombay Order No. A. 1221 / 81 dated 22/02/2012 in view of Government Notification No. 6 / 244 / 04-PER / 4028 dated 13th February, 2012 from the Dy. Secretary (Per,), Administrative Reforms, Secretariat, Daman.
